Any athlete with health issues is required (for their own safety) to notify the Organisers in writing in advance, mark their race number with a red cross and include on it their name, address, telephone number and the health issue they are suffering from.

A physiotherapy and podiatry service will be available, exclusively for runners who have suffered an injury. Under no circumstances may the physiotherapy service be used for relaxation or stress-relief massage.

Similarly, incidents that may occur during journeys to or from the race venue will not be covered.

ARTICLE 14. CLOAKROOM SERVICE

The Organisers will provide a cloakroom service where runners may leave their belongings; however, they will not be held responsible for items left there.

A broom van will be provided to mark the cut-off time for each section of the race, after which the runner must leave the course and withdraw from the race following the instructions of any member of the organising committee. Runners who are unable to continue the race and require medical attention must notify this vehicle or any member of the organising committee, who will then inform the Marathon’s medical services.
